Refund & Returns Policy

South African Sim Racers

At South African Sim Racers we are committed to supplying high-quality sim racing equipment sourced from authorised distributors and manufacturers. If you experience an issue with a product, we will assist you in resolving the matter as efficiently as possible.

Please review the following policy regarding returns, repairs, and warranty claims.


Defective or Faulty Products

If a product is defective, damaged, or not functioning correctly upon delivery, please notify us within 7 days of receiving the item.

To assist with the claim, please provide the following information:

  • Your order number

  • The product name

  • A description of the issue

  • Photos or videos showing the problem where applicable

Products must be returned with all original packaging, accessories, cables, manuals, and documentation.

Once the product has been received and inspected, we will arrange one of the following in accordance with the South African Consumer Protection Act (CPA):

  • Repair of the product

  • Replacement of the product

  • Refund where applicable


Return Authorisation (RMA)

All returns must be authorised before products are sent back.

Customers must contact us to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorisation (RMA) number and return instructions.

Returns sent without prior authorisation may not be accepted.


Warranty

Most products sold by South African Sim Racers include a manufacturer warranty.

All warranty claims are processed through authorised distributor service centres.

Products returned for warranty assessment may be sent to the relevant distributor or manufacturer for testing and verification of the fault. This process may include:

  • Product inspection and diagnostic testing

  • Repair of the product

  • Replacement of the product where applicable

Warranty processing times may vary depending on the distributor or manufacturer’s service procedures.


Return Shipping

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the product is confirmed to be defective or incorrectly supplied.

We recommend using trackable and insured shipping when returning products, as South African Sim Racers cannot be held responsible for items lost or damaged during transit.


Inspection & Processing

All returned products are inspected before a repair, replacement, or refund is approved.

If a returned product is found not to be defective or is missing packaging, accessories, or documentation, it may be returned to the customer and additional shipping costs may apply.
